Through Their Eyes
The Story of Kfar Azza
A first-hand account of October 7. A story of survival, resilience, and rebuilding.
This powerful exhibition tells the story of Kfar Azza, one of the many communities devastated by the attack of October 7, 2023. Through personal stories, photographs, and real conversations captured on that day, this exhibition reveals the profound human cost of the attack—the lives cut short, the families torn apart, and the everyday moments that will never return.
It also honors the heroism…
of those who fought to defend their homes—security guards, soldiers, and first responders—many of whom paid with their lives. Their stories of bravery and personal sacrifice stand alongside those of the fallen, whose lives inspire meaning, remembrance, and the will to live on.
This exhibition not only remembers; it draws strength from what was lost—and from the determination of the surviving community to rebuild. It reflects both the unimaginable cruelty people can face and the strength and perseverance required to move forward. We remember them not only to honor their lives but to find purpose in carrying their memory forward. Even in the aftermath of unthinkable loss, Kfar Azza reminds us: you must have hope, you must go on.

Each visit feels like the beginning of something larger — a spark that has the potential to grow as visitors share what they’ve seen and felt. The exhibit plants seeds of awareness, empathy, and responsibility that, when carried forward, can touch countless others. The ripple effects, though still forming, hold immeasurable possibility….Its impact reminds us that change often begins quietly — with one experience, one reflection, and one story shared forward.
